Fundraising Director

Background and History:

The Forest Lake Youth Lacrosse Board is a sub-group of the Forest Lake Athletic Association (FLAAA) and serves as a 5013C non-profit organization independent of the public-school system to provide athletic opportunities for students in the areas of Baseball, Basketball, Fastpitch, Football, Lacrosse, T-Ball, and Volleyball.

The Forest Lake Youth Lacrosse Board oversees all planning and activities specifically related to youth lacrosse for girls and boys between ages 7-15.

Fundraising Director

Term: Elected/Appointed to the FL Lax Board with a 2-year term running November to October.  

Position Description:

The Fundraising Director is accountable for designing, coordinating, and execution of the LAX board fundraising goals.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and implement, with Board of Directors approval, seasonal fundraising efforts on behalf of the organization.
  • Coordinate the development of communication to players, parents and coaches with regards to fundraising.
  • Develop and manage resources, events and programs to optimize budgetary guidelines for financial gain to the organization.
  • Work with Technology Director to ensure proper website and internet exposure of all fundraising efforts.
  • Work with Treasurer to ensure proper collection of monies and timely payment of invoices.
  • Manage and maintain accurate accounting for all fundraising inventory.
  • Initiate and manage all volunteer efforts for fundraising activities.

Estimated Monthly Time Commitment:

  • Jan - Aug - 4 hours/month
  • Sept - Dec - 1 hours / month
